The
fully CNC machined front on the Showerhead and Swampcatcher sets the
standard for quality and in keeping
with the Nostalgia theme comes in round only.
Quality stainless steel shafts, anodized butterflies and an authentic
looking std 'Dummy
Barrel Valve'
assembly or new optional Enderle 2"x 2" size clearly
make the STREETCATCHER the obvious choice for the serious Rodder.
Like a real injector, the 500 series SHOWERHEAD and SWAMPCATCHER comes complete with a Linkage that connects to the Carburetor operating the butterflies through the dummy Barrel Valve and can be ordered with or without the authentic Style Dummy hardlines and distribution block or side entry fuel hoses like those used on the original Showerhead Enderle injectors that were used by Don Garlits, Don Prudhomme, Tommy Ivo and Tom McEwen during the early/mid 60's and on when Fuelers were developing into state of the art race cars.
The 500 series scoops are designed to accept a K&N Part No E-3527 Filter, and the SC520 series Dual 4150 Dual Carb model accepts the K&N Part No 3310. The scoops are shipped with a Hi Perf Paper Filter Elements mainly because of the cost of the K&N filter elements here in New Zealand. Just order the K&N's from your local K&N dealer and they will slip right in when the scoop arrives.
Each scoop is custom built to order and comes with the trusted GARLITS name cast into the rear flange just like a real Enderle so you can be confident that your order is backed by a standard that meets with the greatest name in Drag Racing.

SMALL
BLOCKS: Generally speaking the SC500 STREETCATCHER can be used
on street and street/strip
type 6/8-71 engines running blower speeds up to say 1 to 1pushing
a maximum of say 10lbs to12lbs or so of boost or even more and
have proven to easily push a medium size car like a Camaro
into the low 11's. Street machines are no problem and 650 to 1050
Double Pumpers have been used inside the SC500. |
