When you take into consideration specific customer requirements, blower Speeds, engine combinations, all the different carburetor and scoop combinations and then the various engine build combinations, strength of parts, intended use, octanes, camshafts, blower types, teflon, fuel lines etc. Couple that with arranging US ground shipping to a shipper, ocean freight and NZ border entry importing, pick up etc you can easily see there is a considerable amount of time that goes into supplying a Blower Kit before the customer ever sees it. Then once arrived we can if the customer wants us to, dial in the coupler runout, fit the nose, oil, and polish the top pulley, then there is the packaging and shipping. couple all that with the increasing costs of business and you can see how easy it is to lose control of real time costs.

The question is how can we offer any serious discount when you take into consideration all of the above, and then there's the horror stories we hear from time to time from inquirers who set out alone and didn't get what they wanted of got wrong information.

CAN I UPGRADE FROM A CHEATER DEAL TO A STANDARD DEAL
Yes, If you have ordered a cheater price and then decide you want us to become more involved with the order and/or installation you can pay the difference and the order will be treated as a standard order with all the benefits.

IF I DONT HAVE A BLOWER FROM US YOU CAN I PAY THE CHEATER DIFFERENCE AND STILL GET HELP
Yes, If you already have a do it yourself blower project underway and just want info as you go you can pay the difference between a standard price and a cheater price and we will help you with your project. The difference is around the $500.00 plus gst

THE ORANGE PRICE (OUR SHARP STANDARD PRICE)
The Orange Price on the home page is for customers that want or need help with their blower order. They want to do a lot themselves but are not sure about the many aspects involved and would like the peace of mind associated with being able to contact us at any time during the order to discuss issues or would like to talk through (or have their mechanic talk through) their engine combo's/intended use etc etc.

WHAT WE DO:

We will take the order
Import the Blower Kit or Blower into New Zealand
Clear it through customs and arrange for it to come to our shop
Check that the parts are correct
Discuss and supply correct Pulley Ratio for the intended application/use
If requested dial in the Coupler, fit the nose and the oil and polish the top pulley (Std fee $175.00)
Help with any information surrounding the order and susequent relevant technical information
Label the boxes for Shipping arrange shipping if requested to. Mainfreight Insurance is 1% of the value of the goods with a minimum charge of $100.00.

WHAT THE CUSTOMER MUST DO:

Give us a basic outline of the intended use for the order.
Pay our standard 65% deposit at the time of ordering (no cancellation once order is in at TBS)
Pay the balance in full once the order has arrived in our shop (we will notify once arrived)

THE GREEN PRICE (CHEATER)
The Green Price on the homepage is our heavily discounted 'Cheater" price option for Customers, Racers or Shops that want a discount price, or for savvy customers who can handle all the issues that surround fitting a supercharger to their car or to a friends car.

This price is pretty much the same as buying the kit straight off 'The Blower Shop' and having it shipped Ocean freight to New Zealand, but without the hassles.

WHAT WE DO:

We will take the order
Import the Blower Kit or Blower into New Zealand
Clear it through customs and arrange for it to come to our shop
Check that the parts are correct
Discuss and supply correct Pulley Ratio for the intended application/use

Handle all required technical or installation aspects of the order
Pay the balance in full once the order has arrived in our shop (we will notify once arrived)
Pick the order up from our shop, or arrange for a courier or trucking Company to pick the order up.
